Fire Ban - LIFTED September 18, 2018

The Town of Maple Creek has lifted the fire ban effective September 18, 2018. Open fires are permitted in accordance with the Fire Protection Bylaw NO. 2017-MC-02.

Update - September 1st, 2018

Outdoor Water Usage 

Effective September 1st, 2018, all outdoor water usage is permitted between the hours of 6:00am-9:00am & 6:00pm-9:00pm on even numbered days for even numbered properties & on odd numbered properties for odd numbered properties.

Garbage Disruptions Update - August 10, 2018

The Town of Maple Creek has receieved a number of inquires recently regarding disruptions to garbage pick-ups.  While some of these disruptions may have been caused by improper cart placement, other disruptions may have been caused by the temporary changes at the Maple Creek Landfill....more.

Fire Ban

Effective July 19, 2018, the Town of Maple Creek in under a complete fire ban.  NO OPEN FIRES ALLOWED. 

BBQs & fire pits fueled by propane or natural gas are permitted.

Street Sweeping 2018

Street Sweeping is set to begin Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Signs will be placed on the street the night before advising residents to move their vehicles. 

Downtown will be done Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. 

Any rain will delay the street sweeping.

Landfill Update-February 12, 2018

Please be advised that effective February 12, 2018, the Maple Creek Landfill is unable to accept deconstruction material due to operating as a temporary transfer station.

Please note: shingles, clean wood & concrete will continue to be accepted, but must be sorted. 

Following the complettion of the new landfill cell, deconstruction material will be accepted as before.

Landfill Update

Effective January 1st, 2018, the Town of Maple Creek Landfill will operate a temporary transfer station. All household waste will continue to be accepted at the Landfill, but will be placed in bins to be transported to Swift Current Regional Landfill. Please follow the instructions of the staff. Tipping fees will remain the same. Residential collection will continue as usual.
